Meltric decontactors are a combination plug & receptacle and disconnect switch in the same device. With their UL and CSA switch ratings, Decontactors provide users with a cost effective and convenient means of providing the NEC required 'line of sight' disconnect. Motors that are pre-wired with a plug or inlet can be connected simply by being plugged in, and because there is no access to live parts, the need for NFPA 70E required arc-flash hazard analysis and associated PPE is eliminated.
